In order to make the tradeshow presence in the Far East easier for companies, the Bolzano/Bozen Exhibition Center and its Chinese partner, Intex Shanghai, have prepared practical service packages for participation in the “China Rescue Expo” in mid-March in Shanghai. The tradeshow for civil defense, emergency services, and rescue will also be accompanied by a specialized conference.
China, a country with an enormous number of inhabitants and an immense area, is often affected by natural catastrophes. Its rapid economic development carries with it industrial accidents in factories and construction sites, and along with natural catastrophes such as earthquakes, this leads to a growing demand in the area of catastrophe prevention and rescue. In spite of the quick development in the aforementioned sectors, the technology and training in the areas of prevention and rescue in an emergency has relatively lagged behind. Moreover, high population densities and the many public events carry with them a considerable risk for accidents in and of themselves.
The demand in China in the area of rescue technology and equipment is enormous. This is therefore the perfect time, both for international and domestic companies, to enter into the Chinese market and jointly improve safety standards in China. Shanghai is the financial, trade, technology, and information capital of China. A substantial number of the world’s top five hundred companies already have their main business headquarters in Shanghai. The Expo 2010 in Shanghai, as well as measures by the Chinese government that have never before been available for aid in times of financial crisis, offer tremendous opportunities for companies that have established themselves in the sector of catastrophe protection rescue services.
The Bolzano/Bozen Exhibition Center and Intex Shanghai have prepared practical service packages for the “China Rescue Expo” from March 17 to 19, 2010 in Shanghai. These include the roundtrip flight Frankfurt-Shanghai, transfer to a four or five-star hotel adjacent to the Intex Exhibition Center area, and the visa for China. In addition to the advantage of the economical prices in this service package, exhibitors do not
need to take care of anything else and can depend upon the Bolzano/Bozen Exhibition Center as the organizer. Intex, in collaboration with the Bolzano/Bozen Exhibition Center, has prepared a complete transportation and logistics package for exhibitors’ products.
In addition to the product show for Chinese and international companies in the areas of protective clothing, special vehicles and equipment, medical and first aid supplies, information technology, telematics, communications systems, and fire protection equipment, the Bolzano/Bozen Exhibition Center will also organize a top-quality conference program in China. The main topics will be earthquakes and floods. International speakers will provide information on the prevention of natural catastrophes as well as on plans of action and rescue in catastrophe areas.
